Added 2,000 tons of cooling capacity to the Holland chiller plant in the place of recently demolished 1,000-ton Chiller 5. We added a 2,000-ton chiller to the Holland chilled water plant. Provided structural reinforcing on CH-5, including new footers & steel supports. Installed a primary chilled water pump with full sized bypass along with a 2,000-ton field-erected counter flow cooling tower on a concrete basin along with condenser water pumps. Electrical distribution equipment was installed to provide power to new chiller, cooling tower, pumps, and control devices. All work was performed while the building was occupied and was completed within budget.
